Head Tracker is an app that utilizes the front-facing TrueDepth camera on iPhone to offer precise and responsive 6DOF head tracking input to opentrack. With Head Tracker, users can enjoy flight and driving simulation games without the need for costly hardware or uncomfortable headsets.

Supported Devices

Head Tracker is compatible with iPhone X and newer models. It requires a device with a TrueDepth camera or devices with A12 or later processors such as iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (2nd Gen), and iPad Pro (2nd Gen).

How to Use

Open the Head Tracker app on your iPhone and enter your PC's IP address, then start.
Launch the opentrack application on your PC, select "Network over UDP" and the "freetrack 2.0" protocol, and press start.
Start your favorite simulator game, and it will now track your head movements in the virtual cockpit.

Versions (Free and In-App Purchase)

You can try out the free version of Head Tracker, which allows you to play for 10 minutes per session. You can restart to extend the trial.

To remove the trial limit and automatic screen dimming for reduced battery usage, you can upgrade to the full version through an in-app purchase.
